Summer Solstice Celebration: Foraged Cyanotypes & Scrappy Suncatchers

Welcome the peak of summer and celebrate the longest day of the year with an evening of sunshine, community, and hands-on making at The Craft Room! We’re stepping out of the studio at 6:00 PM for a brief, casual stroll down to Patriot Park to forage for botanical silhouettes, using the literal power of the solstice sun to create magical, solar-activated cyanotype blueprints right on the grass. Afterward, we will head back to our shared tables to rinse our prints and make multi-textured suncatchers using our scrappy stash of remnants, beads, ribbons, and reflective bits.

Tickets are $60 and include all specialized tools, materials, and full access to a fresh summer grazing board (with crisp wines & light beers available for purchase).

Space is limited, sign up using the source link below.
